We bought our house 6 and half years ago and told ourselves by 5 years we would have it on the market. Obviously that hasn't happened and I feel like the more projects we get done, the more projects surface afterwards. Not only that, but projects pop-up out of nowhere. We got burgled recently and lost a lot of property - even the television for the bathroom was stolen! We had to install a security camera for our property.
Right now, if we would want to put it on the market, we would have to do some cosmetic work on the interior of the house such as drywall and mudding work. The bathroom and back kitchen wall need to be redone and then, from when we replaced the old windows in the house, a couple of the walls need filled in with plaster. However the list of the things to do on our own for a top seller house keeps on getting longer everytime we talked about it. Finishing the basement into family room is an option and redoing the entire kitchen. The basement would require flooring, paint and drywall work and installing a ceiling to qualify it as a room. That does not seem too much but the kitchen would be a complete overhaul. The cabinets are old and falling apart. We "rigged" a couple to fit our needs and to save money. All the appliances besides the refrigerator are over 15 years old. The floor is simple tile that was glued down by us to replace the previous indoor/outdoor carpet that was installed when we moved in. On top of those two projects the disgusting carpet that invades the entire house is always discussed and stressed about because of the cost. Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it to purchase a house. It seems there is always something broken that needs fixed and money is always being put into it whereas with an apartment all you have to do is call the landlord. But then you stress if they'll actually show up and fix it right. |

Faulty electrical gadgets must always be handled with care. This is not only because they can be potentially dangerous but also because they can be sensitive to damage. Electrical gadgets such as fridges, cookers, television sets, and computers need to be handled with care at all times. It is always advised that electrical gadgets should never be exposed to water as they can cause electrical shock in addition to getting damaged. One of the ways of handling gadgets that get exposed to water is to blow dry them so that they can fry. Alternatively, the gadgets can be left to dry on their own. If left as they are, the gadgets can end up with bt faults which can make functioning, even with repair, impossible. It is proper to operate electrical gadgets only when there is consistent flow of electricity. If there are short circuits the gadgets can get damaged and if they already have problems they can become worse. Knowledge on the proper use of electrical gadgets is also needed so that faults in them can be handled in the right way. |

We have been told time and again that using our cellphone's during class is prohibited but being the randy and carefree teenagers that we were we didn't care. We didn't take this rule to heart and almost always sneaked a use on our phone during lectures. Of course this did not go unnoticed by our teachers but some of them chose to ignore it rather than waste their emotions on getting mad at us. One student though known to be the meanest bully in campus paid a nasty trick on one of the professors. He kept on calling the professor's phone using different numbers we heard the professor asking a colleague whos number is this showing a number on his mobile phone. My friends and I have an idea on who it was actually almost everyone in the class knew who it was but were too scared to confess to the dean. The perpetrator is known to take revenge on those students who go against him outside of campus and it is not something any of the students want to experience first-hand. |

I was taught by my younger sister how to create an account in Facebook. But just this morning, I realized that i forgot my facebook password and my email password. I still need to wait for my sister to arrive from school to have this matter fixed. I am not really fond of these stuffs but what I like about social networking sites is that it allows me to get in touch with my long lost friends and distant relatives. In fact, I bumped with a former classmate in a restaurant last night and she asked me to go online tonight so we can talk and keep each other posted about our lives’ latest happenings. She mentioned that she is already married to someone I also know. This really intrigued me and I really want to know who the guy is. I can’t wait to see his photos in Facebook. I can’t wait to see how their children look like. I hope my sister comes home early so we can start having a chit chat right away. |

I love consoles, and appreciate the electronics behind the interfaces having calibrated hexagonal spacers on assembly lines in my work experience.
I have been playing computer games for a long time but I think after sometime of playing against computers you get tired. Playing against the computer, doing the same missions over and over again, and having no charm of winning against a silent player (computer) are not interesting and pleasure seeking at all. I like games that provide networking facilities. Halo is my favorite game that not only provides networking facilities but also charm of playing against another person and beating him. This game also has quite good graphics and also provides options of altering the game according to one’s taste. We can add a lot of things and set the difficulty according to our own choice. This freedom provided by this computer game is the best thing that attracts me. The sound effects are also amazing. Another thing worth mentioning is that this game makes your reflexes vey alert. I feel that since I have been playing this game my reflexes have become faster and quicker. |

Having understood the benefits that come with the use of the internet, I was not going to rest until I was able to connect it with my computer. I know of the benefits that my computer has offered to me and anything that was going to be an added advantage, I was not going to let go. Once I got my internet, I took the next step of downloading any important source in my computer. I got all the necessary services that I needed in the functioning of my computer using the flash player with which I had downloaded from the internet. However, lately, I have been encountering flash player problems which have been an inconvenience to my tasks. I almost rely on it in handling almost every downloading process which is important for my day to day duties in the internet. I only hope that in consulting an expert to help me find a solution to this problem, I will get back to my services and continue enjoying all the benefits of the flash player that I used to enjoy before. |

Insurance is where one is registered and in case of a loss one is compensated. When a person gets accident through a vehicle they get to be compensated for injuries only if the car or the vehicle is insured. If not insured one is not going to be given any amount of money. An insured car pays for medical treatment of a person and all expenses which they need to be catered for. All those people who are insured are recognized by government. People are given social number for insurance. This number has a minimum of nine digits and should not reduce nor exceed more than that. It’s a number which shows you are a member among those people who are secured. I met a person who is secured and was complaining i forgot my social insurance number. If one forgets that number and they happen to have losses they will not be recognized because number is the evidence. One should not forget it but should put it down somewhere so they can refer and should not be shared with somebody else it’s made for individual. |

The robots have invaded us, without you even noticing. Almost every business is now slowly geared towards robotic automation. Robotics is not just limited to manufacturing companies. There are some basic services that do make use of robots and automation.
Take for example the ATM machine. That is a perfect example of automation. You don't have to line up to a teller to withdraw your money. You can just visit an ATM machine in any location and it will dispense your money for you.
Another example is that toy machine you see in the gaming arcades. When you drop your coins you manipulate a robotic hand to pick up the toy of your choice from a mountain of other toys. It is as simple as that. We have been using robots to perform simple and menial tasks without even noticing and without our protest.
So why are people afraid of automation when robots have been around for several years now. With the many conveniences these robots offer, its most likely they will stay. |

It is interesting how life is becoming less hectic by the day.This is because everything that requires technical usage is now taking the software root. My ipod touch has been of essence to me considering the type of duties that i handle on a daily basis. Ipod touch provides a variety of features that do not only support entertainment but also business and office work. Personally, i do a lot of research work and of course i require the internet to support my research. With my ipod touch that provides access to the internet, i comfortably do my research anywhere and at a relaxed mood because i control my own internet. But can i print from my ipod touch? The only challenge that i am faced with is that i do not know how to print the information i get from the internet on a soft copy. I do not know anyone anywhere who can be in a position to guide me on the steps to follow so as to do any print. I am only hoping that if i find my ipod touch manual which is quite far from me at the moment, i will be able to print all the information that i have stored on my ipod touch. |

Passwords are things we should not forget about.We can lose our materials on our accounts.Some of important messages we may not be able to look at them because we cant use the page since we dont know password.If you decide to have another account,it will be a great loss because you will lose important addresses of people and there conducts.If you had saved private information you will loss them.Some of sites you subscribed to be getting news,they will stop being sent to you and if they were important you lose control of them.Those using computers,i met one of them and he said i forgot my windows password how do i reset it.If you completely cant remember it,use a floppy diskette to reset password.The disk should be formatted and insert it in computer.When a blank page appears click delete key and ctrl key and there you can write a new password which you want.Good thing about this disc helps you not to loss your email address.It will remain and you will retain messages and information on your in box. |

There are so many colors and people like different colors and even those who like the same color may like different shades of that color. This can be seen when people are invited to a function and are given the color code and not the shade. People come in different shades and you can tell what shade each one likes. There are people who like dark colors while others settle for bright colors. Colors can say a lot about a person but that is a story for another day. Learning how to isolate colors in photoshop is good because you can put the colors you want on your selected image. To do this you should open photoshop and chose the image you want, click on the image and chose the colors that you want then click on the bottom bar to create a mask then paint the color you want on the parts that you have chosen. If you happen to make a mistake you can rectify by painting it all white then doing the whole process again. |

I once owned an old X86 computer. A green screen monitor, 5 and a quarter floppy, 512K of RAM and a 5Mb Hard drive. It was HUGE. Now I can store 8Gb of memory on a USB stick the size of my thumbnail. All this in the space of just 30 years - incredible. As a student of electronics, I've studied everything from pin diodes to microchips, but it's memory storage that's fascinated me the most. The magnetic drives we use today will likely be replaced by solid state drives with no moving parts in the near future. This will have a really positive impact on storage - no moving parts mean failure rate greatly reduced and access speed greatly improved too. Think of everything that uses memory - from your smart phone to the tens of millions of servers around the world. When it comes to storage, the future is shrinking and getting faster! |

I am thinking of using other methods of communicating with my friends and relatives apart from sending email messages. I feel like I am already left out when it comes to these things. In fact, just this morning, my officemates were talking about iChat. I want to learn how to ichat, as well. Maybe I can ask one of my friends to teach me how to start it off with this instant messaging software application. I heard that one is required to have Mac OS to operating system to be able to set up iChat. Also, I understand that there are support pages which I can refer to in order to learn about troubleshooting, tutorials and other pointers relative to using iChat. I am looking forward to coming across these references the soonest possible time. I am just so excited to discover the wonders of this software application and why many individuals are so engrossed with this instant messaging system. I hope I will be able to learn how to use it effortlessly. It really seems fun using iChat |
