Make an Effort to Look After Yourself at Work

I decided to get a casual job at a warehouse. It was a horrible experience. My job involved lifting incredibly heavy boxes off the production line. At first I thought I could manage the weight and then all of a sudden I felt my legs getting weak. We weren't given proper overalls for these jobs, and I was aware of that at the time, so I was worried. I had to put the box down and the supervisor was not very impressed. I asked if he could have just helped me with this one. He refused and went back to his office. All of the employees were very unfriendly. They were all a lot older than me and had worked at the factory for years. Most of them seemed well built and probably did not have any difficulties with the weight of the boxes. I had to quit. I will never work in a factory again as I could have injured myself. I do not think it is right that staff have to life heavy boxes and sustain an injury just to make the boss happy. It is not worth it.
